While their appearance on the Toronto scene has been sudden, The Dead Ringers’ sound formed slowly, their original songs honed one by one, with each becoming clearer and more defined as the group solidified. There’s something progressive, and undoubtedly funky in this high-energy rock group yet also something that remains difficult to categorize in this newly emerging five piece combo. A band on the edge. The Dead Ringers were born out of the Annex of Toronto, they hug the line between forging new ground and a classic sound.
